Join us for our first Al Barari Kids Well Fest on November 5 where we join together with some of the industry's top wellness practitioners to celebrate the wellness of kids. 

We will host a variety of workshops and classes all focused on teaching kids how to live well. 

There will be wellness classes for parents and for kids.

Sessions will include Yoga, meditation, mindfulness, healthy cooking by kids and also for kids, tapping for kids, reiki, to name a few. 

The event will run from 9am until 6pm.

For waiting parents we will offer 10% discount on Heart & Soul spa treatments. 

The Farm is in full swing and would also be a perfect place for waiting parents to relax and nourish, please do book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Cricket Azima

Cricket Azima leads children ages 2 -12 as they decorate chef's hats and aprons and make and eat their own portion of Playtime Pasta, a whole wheat pasta dish featuring colorful vegetables, mozzarella, and other Italian flavors. Children then leave with a copy of Everybody Eats Lunch, a cookbook featuring lunchbox foods from around the world.

  • 1 hour cooking class for 1 child and up to 2 adults
  • Children cook and the parents are their sous chefs
  • Kids decorate chef hats and aprons
  • Children make their own portion of Playtime Pasta
  • At end of session, children eat what they have made

Annie Silver

This workshop will cover why we need healthier snack options for both kids and adults and how to whip them up in a flash! Recipes will be demonstrated on the useful and versatile Thermomix machine. All attendees will have the opportunity to win a copy of the new Thermomix ‘Lunchbox Ideas’ recipe booklet and experience some healthy and tasty easy to prepare snack foods for themselves.

Annie Silver is a UK qualified Homeopath and holds a BSc. in Nutritional Medicine from Thames Valley University. As well as her extensive wellness expertise, Annie is also a wife and mother with a wealth of practical experience and a toolkit of simple to learn techniques for how to actually apply healthy living principles into everyday life for all the family.

Perrin Abbas

Children will learn how to use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) in everyday situations. The session will cover the basics of EFT and how to apply to common academic, social and peer concerns. These issues are common in classrooms: anger, anxiety, bullying, perfectionism, judgment, morale and motivation. Tapping is an evidence-based technique designed to help children overcome stress, anxiety and behavioral challenges.

The workshop will give the children the skills to:

  • Recognize and understand their emotions.
  • Discover how to become confident, resilient and adaptable.
  • Improve well-being, self-esteem and academic success.

Jane Gammage

Mindfulness and meditation can help children to:

We know that being a teenager is a beautiful time of life; when girls blossom into young ladies and begin to discover a world full of opportunities, take risks and learn whom they are. In today's world, surrounded by the powerful influences of celebrities, social media and their peers, the need to belong and a desire to conform is stronger than ever. During this introductory session the girls will enjoy activities designed to help build self-confidence, self-esteem and we will draw attention to healthy eating and lifestyle choices that will follow them into adulthood.

Sana Lohi

Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is an ancient hands on healing technique to channel healing energy. The practice of Reiki promotes relaxation and confidence in children. Reiki allows children to learn to unplug and tap into the Universal Energy. Reiki at a young age promotes a healthy way of living throughout their adult lives, helping them make better choices and create balance.

Your child will learn:

  • History and origins of Reiki, what it is and how to use it in day to day life.
  • Chakras in the body, what they mean and how they work
  • How to meditate
  • How to sense energy
